General Info

Can I visit El Rancho for the day? Are activities available?

Because we are so busy with our full stay camps, conferences and events, unfortunately we don't have space for day visitors.

Note that our activities are now only available for groups who book a two night minimum stay.

We do hold a free Open Day every year where lots of our activities are up and running for people to try, so we would love to welcome you then! Keep an eye on our website or Facebook pages for details.

Does El Rancho have wheelchair/disability access?

Yes we do in some venues. More info to come.

Is smoking/vaping allowed onsite?

We are a smoke and vape free site. We ask that guests wanting to do either, head offsite or well away from the venues.

Can we drink alcohol while staying at El Rancho?

Because we regularly host school camps and other events for children, we are an alcohol free site.

Are pets allowed?

Sorry, no! Guests are not permitted to bring any pets onsite. Guide and assistant dogs are of course welcome (please advise us in advance).

Does El Rancho have First Aid available?

All groups staying are responsible for arranging their own first aid, including resources and personnel. If a major incident occurs, be sure to inform El Rancho staff so they can assist you and fill in the relevant health and safety reports afterwards. Note we do have a defibrillator for use by guests in an emergency.
