So Much More Than just a Kids Camp
In the modern world where kids spend hours indoors in front of screens and computer games, El Rancho provides an awesome opportunity for them to experience camping fun and the outdoors, taking full advantage of our exciting onsite activities. These include Horse Riding, Archery, Rockwall, Kayaks, Waterslide....to name just a few!
El Rancho Kids Camps provide more than just a standard holiday programme. At the heart of El Rancho's vision and mission, our Kids Camps provide an opportunity for children to learn about and experience the power and life changing love of Jesus. Kids don't just remember the fun times they had, they go away with memories that stay with them for years and years to follow.
Kids take part in entertaining daily sessions, where Biblical principles and stories are interwoven into the camp theme, and taught in a way that is fun and relevant. Our cabin leaders run a daily devotion within a small group setting, to further emphasize the session topics and to give kids the opportunities to ask questions in a one on one setting. Our band play a bunch of fun worship songs that help kids get a sense of who God is through music.

What a success the entire week was!! My kids couldn’t stop talking about what they did, who did what, and how much fun they had! They both raved about their leaders too!
Hand on heart, I believe my daughter's experience has been a turning point with her challenges. She is becoming more confident, school has become easier, her group of friends has expanded. She used to struggle in group settings, knowing what she wanted to say/ contribute, but physically unable to. Now she is finding her voice.
I can’t recommend El Rancho enough to other parents. You guys are absolutely wonderful and I can’t thank you enough for the care and understanding of children, knowing that they are all unique and special.

Just wanted to say a massive big thanks for the awesome time my daughter had at El Rancho.
She has not stopped talking about the amazing time she had since she got home! She loved it so much she would like to go to the camp coming up next holidays.
My 9 year old has just returned from kids camp and to say she loved it is an understatement. Already talking about the next one.
Loved the fact that her gluten free meals were fully catered for and the leaders seemed so knowledgeable upon us arriving. The end of week concert was great and made me wish I had attended a camp like this when I was younger.
And what about the kids?....
I feel like a different person after being at camp....like my life has changed for the better....I feel brand new.
I love everything about coming to camp at El Rancho....the activities....the food and I always make new friends...I give it an 11/10!
An Emphasis On Kids Safety And Fun
El Rancho Camp Staff and Activity Instructors are committed to adhering to strict Health & Safety guidelines.
Through our partnership with OSCAR you can be assured that your kids safety is our first priority.
Our cabin leaders go through an application process that involve character references from their Church Pastors, School Teachers or Employers, as well as being Police Checked. Leaders are given comprehensive training before the kids arrive, to ensure they are fully equipped to care for your kids.

Please use the "Oscar Registration" tickets to register and secure your child's spot at camp while you await approval from WINZ. These can be processed under the "Pay Later" option.
You will also need to file your subsidy form with your local WINZ office (the programme supervisor has already completed the relevant section).
Please note subsidy forms are not processed within two weeks of the camp start date, or before 8 weeks from a camp starting.
